The Code Enforcement Department is responsible for the enforcement of all county ordinances. Some of the typical responsibilities of the Code Enforcement Department include: junk and debris complaints, zoning compliance, building without permits and inspections, environmental violations, and land alteration without excavation and fill permits. The Code Enforcement Officer is responsible for scheduling and overseeing the processing of unresolved violation cases before the county court.
Formal complaints are not accepted via e-mail. Formal complaints must be signed and mailed or delivered to the Office of Code Enforcement.
